Years R-12 Casual Day: Thursday 6 July – NAIDOC Week
Please be advised that the NAIDOC Week casual day has been rescheduled to Thursday 6 July (NOT the last day of term).
On Thursday all students will have the option to wear non-uniform clothing in the colours of red, yellow and black (the Aboriginal flag) or green, blue, white and black (the Torres Strait Islander flag). They may also choose to wear First Nations themed clothing such as sports tops with indigenous art. Please note this is NOT an ‘anything goes’ casual day.
Students in themed casual clothing are asked to bring along a gold coin donation to raise funds for resources for the REC Nunga Room, where our First Nations students can connect to culture and identity.
