On Thursday 1 June, after weather forced a one-week postponement, our Year 7 students visited Belair National Park for the inaugural ‘Big Day Out’ excursion. The day was full of active, team-building activities and proved to be a resounding success, with all students and staff enjoying the outdoors, learning and fun! Although experiences were aimed at the development of values and skills such as teamwork, resilience, communication, leadership and courage, there had to be an overall winner—the Spence house! Congratulations to all involved!
