This year we will celebrate Book Week in Week 6. For the first time the fun is not just for primary students and we’re inviting ALL students and staff from P-12 to dress up as a book character on Friday 2 September. This is not a casual day and we are not asking for any donations to dress up.
It can be as simple as a pair of whiskers or a hat to give a clue to a favourite book. You can be as creative, simple and affordable as wanted. Please be aware that weapons are not allowed to be part of any costume and outfits should be appropriate for school. Students not in dress up should be in regular uniform.
For secondary students we will take photos in Middle School learning communities during Cross-curricular with a prize for best dressed. R-6 students will celebrate at the R-6 assembly. Wombat pre-schoolers can dress up on the same day, while Platypus can dress up on the Tuesday.
The 2022 Book Week theme is Dreaming with Eyes Open.
