In Week 3, REC First Nations students Porsha (Year 11), Alana (Year 11) and Amali (Year 9) participated in a two-day barista course run by the Workabout Centre. On the Thursday and Friday, the girls had their final assessment day in the Tauondi coffee van at The Power Cup event in Adelaide.
The girls were rostered in shifts to serve, make coffee and hot chocolates for the students, community members and staff at the Power Cup. A special shout out to Porsha and Amali who took on extra shifts when the crew were short staffed.
