It’s been a busy few weeks in the VET café at REC.
The Year 12 Food and Hospitality class completed their final task, ‘Made to Order’, where they choose a healthy takeaway meal that would be suitable for time poor customers. They marketed, sold and produced 10 serves of their selected dishes- everyone was all smiles as it is the completion of their final year.
The Pre-Voc Certificate 1 students completed their café day with great success. Using their skills built from the course, like Barista certificate and complex recipe completions, students poured coffees with precision and a selection of lunch meals were prepared for our very happy customers.
