Cooking Capers

This year we are thrilled to deliver Certificate II in Cookery through Adelaide Institute of Hospitality here at REC in our commercial kitchen and cafe training facilities. Chefs Ben and Bryson will guide our students to complete their qualification. Last week the students began with bread and pizza making, – which looked and smelt amazing! This week students have learnt about knife skills and practised precision vegetable cuts for making cold rolls and Asian dipping sauce – again very aromatic and delicious! the course aims to prepare students for a chef/cook career pathway and they will learn all about food health hygiene & safety regulations, food preparation and cooking techniques.
