Our Food & Hospitality student have been busy this term, serving up delicious meals and snacks for a number of events as part of their assessments.
In Week 5 The Year 12’s completed their Takeaway Made to Order task, serving up delicious hot lunches to paying (staff) customers. Their menu included turkey and beef burgers, teriyaki chicken and tofu bowls, pasta carbonara and Korean beef bowls. In Week 7 the Year 10 Pre-Voc students had their turn, making a number of dishes, then running the café and serving meals to customers.
Our hard working SSO team were also spoiled with a special afternoon tea prepared by the Year 11 hospitality classes. Arancini balls, bruschetta and lemon tarts were just some of the tasty bites on offer. They also made sure to include vegan and gluten free food. It was their first catering job and they did brilliantly!
