Year 12 student Gunveer B recently attended the Southern Youth Round Table (SYRT), a dynamic network bringing together individuals working in the youth sector. From guiding youth services to hands-on work in the community, SYRT fosters collaboration, advocacy and impact on the ground.
Gunveer writes:
“SYRT is a great event which was held at the Cove Civic Centre. In this event there were a lot of youth organisations who were to make connection with the other youth organisations to see how they are doing and to make partnerships with them. I went to make connections with new people but when I got there I found out all of the youth organisations and I thought I might bring their flyers back to my school to help the youth organisations and my school to get more help for the students that need it.”
