On Wednesday 25 October, Mr Woodley’s Year 10 History class went on an excursion to the Adelaide Holocaust Museum and Steiner Education Centre. Students listened to stories of survivors of the Holocaust and the lives of Jewish people living through the Holocaust. We were very fortunate and privileged to have survivor Andrew Steiner come in and talk to the students and answer questions. Andrew is 90 and survived the Holocaust, moving to Adelaide with his family after World War 2. We were humbled to meet him and listen to his story. The students represented our school beautifully and asked deep and meaningful questions. It was an awesome day.
