Know your councillors: Lisann Brennan and Kelli Marsh

Kelli Marsh is our 2025 Treasurer and member of the Finance Advisory Group. She says, “I want to play an active role in shaping the future of our school and ensuring the voices of parents and the wider community are heard. It’s a meaningful opportunity to contribute to key decisions about the school’s direction, policies and resources, and to support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students. With 19 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, I bring strong financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial management, I also have a solid understanding of school governance and a genuine commitment to supporting quality education and community involvement. I plan to support the school community by actively listening to the needs of students and families, ensuring their voices are heard and valued”.

Lisann Brennan is our Secretary and also sits on the Fundraising Committee. You may also know her as Mr Symonds’ PA and her 2 sons also attend REC. Lisann says, “I joined the committee to meet new parents and help make a difference within the school and be a part of the fundraising committee. I have knowledge and skills with internal school processes and have had an admin/EA background for many years. I plan to support the students, staff, and families with fun initiatives and bring the community together. This year, the fundraising committee has held a Mother’s Day stall and Bogan Bingo, plus we support the primary teachers with the annual disco. In my spare time: I’m a sports mum who attends Basketball, Football, and now volleyball for REC.”
