On Thursday 11 March our Language Leaders were invited to a presentation from students from Toyo Ushiku High School via a live video conference from Ushiku, Japan. Our college has had a long-standing relationship with Toyo Ushiku High School, annually welcoming study tours and reciprocally visiting their school as part of our biannual Japan trip. The presentations covered 43 different aspects of Japanese culture, including famous people, pop culture, foods, geography and festivals. Students were able to communicate through sharing and learning about each other’s culture and all students had a fantastic time doing so.
