Rehearsals are well underway for Matilda!, our 2025 whole school production. This week, meet the following cast members:
Indiana D (Year 7) is Miss Phelps, the nice librarian. Indiana says, “performing is one of my deepest passions and I want to do as much as possible. Miss Phelps is a great role and I am excited to play her”.
Urja T (Year 10) is Lavender, Matilda’s cool best friend. Urja has been doing Drama since Year 7 and played a prt in ‘The Mole’ at least year’s showcase.
Milique W (Year 10) is Hortensia, one of the older kids at Crunchem Hall. Milique says, “I auditioned because one of my all-time favourite movies is Matilda, Hortensia is very bold, outgoing and she isn’t afraid to say what she thinks. She is a strong leader and it inspires me to be a better leader at home and in my schooling life”. Milique is one of our Arts leaders and is passionate about pursuing acting after school.
