Introducing the following cast members for our Whole School Production, Matilda!
Alex D in Year 12 plays Matilda’s father Mr Wormwood, a role made famous by Danny DeVito in the 1996 movie. Alex says “I always loved performing and want to express myself in different ways. This will be a fun character to experiment with comedic timing”.
Evie J in Year 9 is Mrs Wormwood. Evie says “I wanted to play someone fun and love her attitude. She’s a bit of a diva and I love her snarkiness”.
Noah W in Year 11 is Matilda’s brother Michael Wormwood. It’s Noah’s debut stage performance. He says “I auditioned for the production as I wanted to try something new. Michael is a bit moody but also snarky with a bit of attitude. He geta to be mean to Matilda”.
Matilda! will be performed on 3 and 4 September at Futures Church South.
