Lucas S (Year 9) has been selected for two central Adelaide musical ensembles this year – Adelaide Youth Orchestra (AdYO) and the South Australian Schools Percussion Ensemble (SASPE Plus). Students in these ensembles are selected by an audition process, which Lucas performed well in. He attends weekly rehearsals outside of school and will perform in various concerts this year, including the “Winter Symphonies” concert on 29 June at Elder Hall, Adelaide University.
