Congrats to students Brock O, Ethan B and Maths/Science teacher Mr James Sprules on their recent success at the 2022 Australian National Judo Championships in QLD.
900 competitors participated in this year’s Nationals, where Brock placed 5th in his division of U50kg cadets and Ethan fought the top seeded player (who took the silver medal) in the U73kg cadet division.
Mr Sprules (who is club sensei at Kazoku Judokan) finished as a bronze medallist in the U100kg Men’s division. He only lost one contest, to Australia’s 2022 Commonwealth Games Representative who is ranked 35th in the world.
