It’s National Volunteers Week, and we are lucky at REC to have many members of our community volunteer in different roles across the college.
Sports coaches, camp helpers, sausage sizzle chefs, information guides at events, committee members, fundraisers and more, schools run better and the community is more connected when volunteers get involved.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing profiles of our Governing Council members (all volunteers) so you can get to know them better.
Other regular volunteers include our team of lunchtime baristas who work in the REC Cafe – thanks to Mr Helsham and Ms Cook for assisting them.
