Nature Play

Recently the Year 12 Child Studies class planned and conducted Nature Play activities with students from Ms Hesling’s Reception class. This was part of their recent group task investigating the importance of Nature Play for children’s growth and development.

A range of engaging activities including scavenger hunts, salt dough creations, nature wands and making mud cupcakes were enjoyed together in the Nature Playground. Feedback from students and teachers indicated that it was a very successful and engaging experience for all students. We are fortunate as a P-12 College to be able to regularly enjoy these collaborations with the Junior Primary students.
