School Community Rewards program with Credit Union SA

Reynella East College is excited to share with you our ongoing partnership with Credit Union SA in their School Community Rewards fundraising program.

Since joining the program, we have raised more than $43,500 which we have used for several school upgrades: a new chicken coop, nature play area and play tunnel in the primary school plus the Indigenous garden walkway and redeveloped Hardy Courtyard in the secondary school (see it in action as an outdoor performance and entertainment space at our upcoming Fringe @ REC!). Our next fundraising goal we are allocating these funds to is to upgrade our secondary toilet facilities.

How does School Community Rewards work?
So how can your home loan (or car loan) help benefit our school? Through School Community Rewards, Credit Union SA will donate 0.20% p.a. of your total loan amount(s) to your nominated school. Here’s an example:

Why have we partnered with Credit Union SA?
Credit Union SA is South Australia’s third largest credit union, with over 50,000 members, and unlike the major banks, Credit Union SA’s profits go back to their members and the communities they live in. They have supported SA schools and educators for over 60 years.

Where can you find more information?
