Solero 2 students became detectives for the afternoon in a crime scene simulation. They needed to solve the mystery of Ms Weger’s messy room. The teachers of REC soon became suspects to the crime…
Students were taught not to rush to conclusions and instead, practised analysing clues and evidence carefully, using their inferencing and prior knowledge skills. They practised their detective skills by connecting the dots and working as a team to solve the mystery. It was a fun way to learn critical thinking, attention to detail, and how to communicate effectively with our classmates.
So, Whodunit?
Turns out poor Ms Lee forgot where she hid the class Halloween treats and turned the room upside down in the process. She came and explained to the class her mistake.
