This term, 8 REC students (Carter H, Lenny C, Ryan H, Savannah P, Sienna D, Eloise H, Rylee J and Sharlae C) were selected to compete in the Year 5/6 Southern Valley District AFL Carnival. Through rain and shine our students competed for 3 consecutive days, each game demonstrating true sportspersonship, courage and perseverance. Not only did these students develop their skills and understanding of AFL throughout the carnival, they also developed new friendships and a sense of pride and accomplishment in their efforts.
Miss Roberts, who was coaching the Year 5/6 girls team, got to see a tremendous amount of growth from all players across both teams and says these students were an excellent group to represent REC! Well done, everyone!
