Special options fire station visit

The Special Options classes recently visited Noarlunga Fire Station. They caught the 733 bus to Noarlunga then walked to the Fire Station where they were greeted by Sam, Dave and Colin who ran a session on fire safety. They then saw the fire trucks and had a tour through them.

At this point, lights started flashing and a siren sounded, alerting them that the crew had been called to an emergency. It was really cool to see the crew snap into action and get ready so quickly. Luckily, the Fire Commander took over the tour and students went outside to use the fire hose. When the crew returned from their emergency they showed off the equipment in their truck.

It was a fantastic day for both students and staff, and it was great to tour the new facility at Noarlunga. Huge thanks to the crew at Noarlunga Fire Station for their hospitality and enthusiasm during the visit.
