Some of our REC netball fans got up close and personal with the Suncorp Super Netball trophy yesterday. The trophy was accompanied by former Australian and Adelaide Thunderbirds player and now commentator Emily Beaton, along with Thunderbirds training partner Molly Watson.
Students scored some free merch and took part in a Q&A session.
We wish the T-birds well as they play the Melbourne Vixens in this Saturday’s Grand Final at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
We also wish our new REC Primary netball teams the very best of luck in their upcoming season. The Year 3/4, Year 5 and Year 5/6 teams played their first games at SUNA this week.
