Last Thursday nearly 1000 family members packed the Wayikuu Gym for the annual P-6 Twilight Concert; the perfect venue for showcasing the hard work and dedication not only of our students, but also our brilliant Performing Arts Teacher, Andrew Rusk.
This year, our concert was themed Through the Decades, where units performed a ‘mashup’ of songs from their decade, which they have been working tirelessly on over the last term in their Performing Arts lessons. The opportunity for our students to confidently perform in front of an audience of staff, families, carers and community members is no small feat and it was amazing to see the pride and joy on their faces.
