World Friendship Day, also known as International Day of Friendship, takes place on 30 July in Australia. The Year 12 Child Studies class worked with Mr Wall’s Year 5 class to produce an engaging activity on the importance of friendship and promote positive interactions. The groups designed and created activities around the theme ‘what makes a good friend’ and also talked about what it means. Students looked at their friendship qualities and discussed how they could be a better friend. The engaging activity fostered a growth mindset where students learned how to become better version of themselves.
