After an extensive planning process the Mr Beenham’s Year 10 Outdoor Ed class packed up their gear and headed off to Renmark for the annual Canoeing Camp on Wednesday 2 November. Over the course of the three days the students developed their canoeing skills, along with their general camping skills like pitching tents and cooking on trangias. All 10 students were highly successful across the experience and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to Jim Roberts from Canoe the Riverland for his leadership on the camp and to instructors, Moneeta Deans and Alex Kiesau for their expertise and assistance.
