REC Canteen
The canteen is operated by the manager, Kirsty Monssen and a team of volunteers. The canteen is open at recess and lunch times daily during term time, and offers a great selection of tasty and nutritious food. Lunches can be ordered using the in-class trays, or online with Qkr!
Healthy Choices
Our Canteen is dedicated to providing students with fresh and healthy alternatives for lunch and recess. We offer many healthy choices including salads, rolls and fruit, and follow the DECD ‘Right Bite’ policy that is focussed on food safety, food supply and healthy food.
We try to meet all dietary needs of our students, for special dietary requirements please contact canteen manager on 83292345 to discuss how we can help.

Qkr!
For those who are new to the app, Qkr! by MasterCard is a secure payment app for schools and can be downloaded for free from the App Store for iPhone and iPad or from Google Play for Android phones and tablets.
It is a convenient way for you to order and pay for recess and lunch from the canteen using your smart phone – anytime, anywhere. An easy to follow “how-to” guide is available with information on how to get started and will help you get set up for online ordering.
Just a reminder – the cut off time each day for placing lunch orders through the Qkr! app is 9.15am.

Our canteen is strongly supported by volunteers who provide a wonderful service in helping us deliver healthy food alternatives for our students, and at the same time creates an opportunity to meet new friends.
