Reynella East College student Mitchell has earned an exciting opportunity to represent Australia at the 2026 WICF Junior World Series in Pretoria, South Africa.
Mitchell has been selected in the Australian Under 18 Boys Indoor Cricket team following a strong performance at the 2026 Indoor Cricket National Championships in Melbourne.
Mitchell also had the honour of captaining the South Australian team at the National Championships during the recent school holidays. His efforts at the event helped earn him selection in the Australian team.
The Junior World Series will be held from 26 September to 3 October, bringing together some of the best young indoor cricketers from around the world. Australia will compete against teams from England, New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
Representing Australia is a fantastic achievement and reflects Mitchell’s skill, hard work and commitment to indoor cricket.
