Primary Years

The Primary Years consists of students in Years 3 to 6. We currently have 13 classes in the Primary section of the school set within 3 shared units and a 4 classroom block. Each Learning Area Team works collaboratively and is provided with the opportunity to plan and programme together.

Our students have access to all eight learning areas from the Australian Curriculum. Specialist teachers deliver lessons in: Health & PE, Dance and Languages (Japanese). Our learning programs are complemented with the innovative use of 1:1 iPad devices. Primary students are also given the opportunity to participate in the school choir and the school band along with performing within the bi-annual whole school production.

We have a Play is the Way focus across all our Primary classes to promote social and emotional wellbeing, working together and self mastery.
