Last term, 14 of our dedicated French language students stepped up to support the school community by volunteering at Flaxmill Primary School for their annual French Cultural Day celebrations.
Throughout the day, our students demonstrated wonderful leadership, warmth, and patience as they guided the younger primary students through a variety of interactive cultural learning stations. From facilitating lively games of pétanque on the oval to assisting with intricate arts and crafts and co-hosting an engaging French cultural quiz, their enthusiastic involvement helped bring the spirit of France to life for the primary community.
Our volunteers represented our school with pride, fostering positive connections and inspiring a love for language learning among the younger students. To wrap up a successful day of community spirit and teamwork, the students were rewarded for their hard work with a delicious selection of authentic French pastries.
