It was harvest time last week at Garden Club in the Primary orchard. The student volunteers helped Ms Horton collect baskets full of apples and pears to share.
Garden Club members meet regularly to prune, tidy and pick the fruit as well as feed the 3 chickens.
OSHC groups also help out by feeding the chooks their scraps and putting them to bed at night.
Some of the chicken scraps have turned into random plants across the garden such as these juicy, delicious tomatoes.
