We had a fantastic day on Wednesday as students, families and staff came together for our Learning Conversations, Course Counselling and Career Expo.
The day provided a valuable opportunity for students and families to connect with teachers, discuss learning progress and plan for next year. Our Course Counselling sessions also gave students and families the chance to explore subject choices and pathways as they begin thinking about their future.
A special thank you to all of the businesses, organisations and services who joined us for our Career Expo. Your time, knowledge and willingness to speak with our students helped showcase the wide range of career and pathway opportunities available to them. We would also like to thank the Honourable Nat Cook MP for taking the time to attend and support our event.
We would also like to thank all of our families who attended throughout the day and took the time to engage in conversations about their child’s learning and future. Your involvement plays an important part in supporting our students.
Thank you to our student helpers and SSO staff for their hard work in helping the day run smoothly. We also extend our appreciation to our teachers for the care and preparation they put into their Learning Conversations, and to our leaders for their support and guidance throughout the Course Counselling process.
It was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to support our students and their learning, pathways and future opportunities. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.
