This term, Reynella East College has proudly hosted three visiting study tour groups from Japan: Ushiku High School, Hachioji High School and Wao Mirai High School.
During their time at REC, students enjoyed a rich and engaging program that showcased both our school and local community. They took part in a range of specialist classes, including AFL football, Vegemite scroll cooking, Aboriginal Education and pewter ring making. These experiences gave students a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, connect with REC students and gain a taste of Australian culture.
Our visitors also explored some of South Australia’s favourite destinations, with trips to wildlife parks, the city and Victor Harbor, creating many memorable experiences along the way.
We sincerely thank our student buddies for making our visitors feel welcome and helping them settle into school life, and our host families for generously opening their homes and providing such warm support. These study tours would not be possible without the kindness and involvement of our school community.
