Supporting Year 12 Students with Transition to Work

Recently, Year 12 students had the opportunity to hear from Kara from Status Transition to Work as part of the REC program. Kara spoke with students about the range of support available to young people as they prepare to leave school and take their next steps.

Students learned about the services available through Status, including career guidance, support with finding training and qualifications, job search assistance and help to develop skills for the workplace.

Kara also highlighted the ongoing mentoring available to young people. This support can help students build confidence, stay focused on their goals and make a successful transition into further education, training or employment.

The session was a valuable opportunity for our Year 12 students to learn more about the pathways and support available to them after finishing school.
