On 12 September, 7 teams set out on a writing adventure – planning, writing, editing and illustrating an entire book from start to finish in just 12 hours. The stories written by our teams are being sent to hospitals around the country, giving young people undergoing cancer treatment a story something to brighten their day. As well as writing the stories, students were also involved in fundraising for the Kids’ Cancer Project – a charity who work to eradicate childhood cancers. In a short space of time, REC has raised over $2,200 – a huge effort!! Congratulations to all of our teams!
