On Wednesday 2 September, our Year 9 French students visited Reynella Primary School to share their learning with Year 2 students.
As part of their French studies, the Year 9 students created bilingual children’s books designed to teach a simple concept. During their visit, they read their books to the Year 2 students, who enjoyed the opportunity to practise counting and naming colours and animals in French.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for our Year 9 students to put their language skills into practice while sharing their learning with younger students. It was also a great way to strengthen the connection between our primary and secondary students and foster positive community ties.
Well done to our Year 9 French students for sharing their creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm with the Year 2 students.
