Recently, Year 7 student Levi has been making an impressive mark in the world of dance, with an incredible list of achievements already behind him this year.
Levi’s collection of trophies highlights just how much he has achieved. After starting his journey with just one hip hop class, his passion for dance continued to grow. He has since developed into an elite solo dancer across a range of dance styles.
Levi’s journey is even more impressive given his background in karate, where he progressed to Black Belt before turning his focus to dance.
Recently, Levi was approached with the opportunity to represent Australia at an international dance competition in Kuala Lumpur. The offer included flights and competition entry, with scholarship opportunities also available in Milwaukee, USA. While Levi and his family were unfortunately unable to accept the opportunity, it is a fantastic recognition of his talent and dedication.
Levi is now looking ahead to his next challenge. In January, he will travel to Sydney to compete as a solo dancer at a national competition.
With Levi training for at least 13 hours each week at the studio, as well as putting in extra practice at home, his commitment to dance is clear. His achievements this year are a wonderful reflection of his hard work, passion and determination.
