Innovators Academy

Reynella East College offers a special focus STEM program that encourages critical and creative thinking through the practical application of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in partnership with industry and universities. The Innovators program caters for gifted students and those interested in pursuing a career in STEM-related endeavours.

Candidates are identified for the Innovators Academy during high school transition and are invited to apply for Year 7 or Year 8 with successful entry via an application process. Students can be identified in any year level for the following year.

Students work with specialist STEM teachers and have opportunities to learn through industry-based projects. The Innovators Academy is designed to fully equip the students to achieve at a high academic level and to prepare them for continued success on their pathway throughout their secondary schooling and at tertiary and industry level.
