Hands-On First Aid Learning for Year 6 Students

Last week, Year 6 students took part in a hands-on First Aid session led by our Year 11 First Aid class in the library.

Working alongside Ms Lush and Mr Wall’s classes, the Year 11 students shared important skills and knowledge in a fun and engaging way. Students learnt about CPR, the recovery position, anaphylaxis, choking, bandaging and more.

The session gave Year 6 students the chance to build confidence and learn practical skills that could help in an emergency, while also allowing the Year 11 students to develop their leadership and communication skills.

It was fantastic to see students learning together and supporting one another throughout the activity.
