Congratulations to REC old scholar Hannah Gabel (2023) who has been accepted into the Elevate program for her tertiary studies. The program is a STEM scholarship granting up to $30,000 for a maximum of three years for undergraduate studies. It aims to increase diversity in STEM and address Australia’s growing science and defence workforce needs amid the current STEM skills shortage.
After taking a gap year, Hannah is studying a double degree at Flinders University: a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) and Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science).
Hannah recently thanked her teacher Mr Eng Chuah for being such a positive part of her STEM experience at REC.
