At our recent REC Sports Day, SA Water generously loaned us their Quench Bench, a portable water trailer providing multiple taps to refill water bottles. Quench Benches support sustainability by encouraging the community to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle), helping to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles.
Sports Day was a warm one this year and SA Water provided the following usage stats:
We used 508 litres of water at the Quench Bench which is the equivalent of 847 600mL water bottles.
