Our primary soccer team proudly represented the school at the recent Statewide soccer round held at Woodcroft College. The day was filled with competitive spirit, determination and a whole lot of heart from our players.
Despite tough losses against strong teams from Woodcroft and All Saints, their efforts were rewarded in the final match of the day with a hard-fought 1-0 win over McLaren Vale just as the rain began to fall!
A special mention to Beau, who took on the role of team-nominated head coach for the day. Beau led with confidence, encouraged the team and helped keep morale high throughout the event – a fantastic example of student leadership in action!
The team’s commitment, teamwork and positive attitude stood out, especially in the second half of the day. It was fantastic to see the spirit and energy lift as players dug deep and supported one another on and off the field and through the rain!
Well done to all involved for representing our school with pride and enthusiasm!
