On Wednesday 10 September REC hosted the Primary Tag Rugby Carnival. Despite some wet and cold conditions (with a few bursts of sunshine in between) the day was filled with energy, teamwork and plenty of rugby action.
Across the day students were playing for values awards. Our boys team played 10 games, showcasing their resilience with a consistent effort and were recognised with the Discipline Award. Our girls team shone, playing 7 other school teams. Their encouragement of each other, respect for all and positive attitude on and off the field earned them the Respect Award. A special mention to Matilda K and Max S who were recognised on the day for their outstanding sportsmanship! Thank you, Beau W, Jude B and Jacob G who supported refereeing on the day.
