The International team is urgently seeking homestay families for a number of Japanese students who are visiting REC in Terms 3 and 4. If you can host for any of the following study tours please get in touch:
- Ushiku High School: Monday 21 July – Friday 1 August
- Hachioji High School: Tuesday 19 – Tuesday 26 August
- Wao Mirai High School: Wednesday 17 – Friday 26 September
- Ushiku Middle School: Sunday 2 – Thursday 13 November
- Ritsumeikan High School: Monday 24 November – Thursday 4 December
Student ages vary between 15-16 generally with a mix of genders.
There is financial support of $360 per week, or $51.43 per day if the tour extends past 7 days.
Becoming a host family does not mean you have to be a tour guide. Students come here to see and experience our way of life, including visiting the beach, seeing our wildlife and tasting our food. You and your family will make new friends and learn about Japanese culture while sharing Australia with our visitors.
