Last Monday REC’s Year 7 students made their way to Belair National Park to participate in the Year 7 Big Day Out. 2024’s successful sophomore edition of the culture and team building event saw our students step out of their comfort zones, build connections and work collaboratively to complete challenges. The Mawson house came away narrow winners on the day with scores being judged on communication, participation, teamwork and encouragement. A great day was had by all, and our Year 7s have had an impactful start to their secondary schooling journeys at REC.
