Last week we welcomed 43 international students to Reynella East College, from countries such as Japan, Vietnam, China, Egypt, Thailand, Iran and Germany.
They are participating in one of two inbound study programs we offer:
The Graduate Program, where students usually come in Year 10 aiming to compete Year 12
The Study Abroad Program, a shorter visit between 4 weeks-1 year to experience Aussie schools
Each year we also host between four and six Study Tours from our partnership schools in Japan. These students do some specialist classes at REC, cultural excursions to the city and wildlife parks, and are supported by our students who act as a local buddy. We always need homestay families to host study tour students for up to 2 weeks. Payment is offered to offset costs and it can be a rewarding experience for your own family.
