During the holidays Year 12 leaders Hannah and Monique attended a reception at Government House where they had the honour of meeting Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten. The day was a great inspiration to both students as they look towards their futures in leadership roles. The two students were kindly welcomed along with student leaders from public and private schools across South Australia to listen to influential people such as The Governor and Minister for Education Blair Boyer, who gave inspirational messages to the cohort. The students were able to explore Government House and mingle with ministers, educators, and other student leaders to discuss the exciting innovations happening in schools across SA, as well as their plans for the years to come. It was an extremely eye-opening experience and incredibly emotionally rewarding for both student leaders.
