Last term teacher Grace Mitchell took Year 9 student Kevin B and Year 8s Sophia W, Charley S and Darcy S to Kyoto, Japan where they participated in the Ritsumeikan Junior High School Youth Exchange Program.
While there they experienced local life with their host families, took part in culture exchange workshops and did plenty of sightseeing. They also visited Osaka and Tokyo. Here’s what Kevin had to say:
“During our trip to Japan I had so much fun. The train rides, the sightseeing and the memories we shared along the way were some key moments of the experience of Japan. My favourite part of the journey was either going to Ritsumeikan for the first time, or going to Shibuya at night, I had a blast.”
