Visit from New Caledonia

On Wednesday 30th August, we welcomed 47 students from James Cook International School, located in Noumea, New Caledonia. The students were in Years 4-7 and joined our primary classes in Hewlett, Braes and Ramsey. The Year 8 students also interacted in French with our Middle School French classes.

Our amazing staff and students provided lessons on Australian culture, sport and food. Although they were only with us for the afternoon, the experience allowed all students to interact positively through our unique language and culture. A huge thank you to the student buddies in each of the Primary classes and the staff that facilitate such memorable experiences for all of the students involved. More information about the school can be found at their website www.eijc.nc.
