A huge congratulations to our REC debate team (Andre, Sophie, Ameera and Zoe) for their outstanding performance last Wednesday night, winning against Westminster School!
Arguing the affirmative on the topic “that foreign aid is a waste of money,” our students delivered powerful, well-researched arguments in a very close and competitive debate.
Each of our team members scored in the 90s for their speeches — an exceptional achievement that reflects their dedication, preparation and skill. The adjudicator’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive, praising the clarity, confidence, and depth of our speakers’ presentations.
