Congratulations to the REC students that graduated from the Lighthouse Youth BMX program this semester.
This intervention program for selected students develops BMX skills and life skills over 20 workshops, with the completion of the program offering 20 SACE credits.
A highlight was the BMX event day, with students demonstrating planning, teamwork, communication and enthusiasm.
Participants spent time both in the classroom and out riding, to complete their assessments, achieve their goals and refine their skills.
Thanks to the Lighthouse Youth mentors, Josh Niederer (SSO support) and Jack Kirwan, who made the inaugural “Lighthouse Youth Trophies” for the event day.
